Casino Royale New Year’s Eve Party at the Weary Ploughman, Churston, Brixham, Torbay
By Anita Newcombe on November 18th 2011
Allow your inner 007 to sparkle on New Year’s Eve with a stylish and fun-filled black tie event at Churston’s hugely popular Weary Ploughman Inn just 2 miles from Agatha Christie’s Riverside residence, near Brixham, Torbay in South Devon
Drinks will be served on arrival at 7.30pm allowing guests to mingle before being seated for a spectacular Gala Buffet Dinner using delicious locally sourced produce prepared by local chefs Chris Snowdon and Will Hext.
After dinner, guests will be able to try their hand at the exciting Casino Royale blackjack and roulette. You’ll be given a starter fund to play the tables and any further chips you buy will benefit two great charities, Devon Air Ambulance and Rowcroft Hospice. Although your winnings all go back to these great charities, the couple who win the most during the evening will have the opportunity to take an Aston Martin for a spin or two around a race circuit!*

Dancing to our great Casino Royale party sounds with our DJ follows and then we’ll pop the bubbly for the midnight celebrations.
The Casino Royale evening is by reservation only and costs just £60 per person to include drinks on arrival and bubbly at midnight. Why not stay over in one of our beautiful double rooms and enjoy a New Year’s Day brunch as well at only £180 for the whole inclusive package for two people? 007 would approve!
Numbers are strictly limited so book now – a warm welcome awaits from your hosts Mike, Helen and Chris Snowdon.
