About the competition

In association with Land Rover

WIN £5,000

Join Devon Life in our search for the Great British Photograph by showing us your favourite photographs taken in the beautiful county of Devon.

Not only will you have the chance to win £5,000, you will also have the chance to have your photographs seen in Devon Life, which is published by Archant Life and in Photography Monthly magazine.
It’s an opportunity not to be missed!

This is a photographic competition that is open to everyone and all areas of photography. The only categories are the names of the counties themselves.

You can enter photographs you have taken of landscapes, people, events, objects or buildings, in fact, anything or anybody that you feel sums up the spirit of a particular county at any time of the year. You can also enter as many images as you like by simply uploading them below.

Each county and the Greater London area will have an overall winning image and commended images chosen by Photography Monthly editor Grant Scott and the Devon Life editor Jane Fitzgerald. The winning images from each area will then go forward to a national final to be judged by a panel of professional judges to decide the overall winning photograph — the Great British Photograph.

It’s easy and fun to enter so why not  upload your photographs to the form below and help make Devon win the Great British Photograph competition.

Competition Closing Date: 12.00pm GMT 30th September 2010

Image Specifications: Only digital JPEGS should be entered.

All pictures were taken with a new camera without tripod at my home in Plymstock.
